This Privacy Policy describes how Nyvrane ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the OmniTone mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using OmniTone, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
OmniTone is a music utility application that provides instrument tuning, a metronome, and audio analysis (tempo, time signature, chord, and scale detection) features.
OmniTone accesses your device's microphone to provide its core tuning, metronome-listening, and audio-analysis features. Audio captured for real-time tuning is processed entirely on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
If you choose to record audio within the app (for the Master Analysis feature) or import an audio file from your device, that audio file is stored locally on your device only and analyzed entirely on-device using an on-device machine learning model. We do not upload, transmit, or have any server-side access to your audio recordings or imported audio files. You may delete these recordings/imports at any time from within the app.
We use Firebase Crashlytics to automatically collect crash reports and diagnostic logs when the app crashes or encounters an error. This may include device model, operating system version, app version, and anonymized technical logs describing the state of the app at the time of the crash. This information is used solely to identify and fix bugs.
We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregated usage data (such as which features are used and how often) to help us understand how the app is used and to improve it. This data is not used to personally identify you.
OmniTone displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect and use your Advertising ID (AAID) and other device/technical identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where you have consented. See Section 4 ("Advertising and Your Choices") for details on how to control this.
If you subscribe to OmniTone Pro, the subscription purchase is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, see, or store your payment card details, billing address, or other financial information — that data is handled directly by Google Play in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. We only receive a purchase/subscription status token used to unlock the ad-free experience on your device.
OmniTone uses Google Play's Age Signals API on supported devices to receive an approximate age-range signal, used solely to support compliance with regional age-verification and age-appropriate-experience requirements (such as jurisdiction-specific age-verification laws). We do not store this signal on any server we control; it is managed by Google Play and governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
OmniTone does not require you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number, or other directly identifying personal information. We do not access your contacts, location, photos, or files other than the specific audio file you explicitly choose to import for analysis.
The following device permissions are requested and are each tied directly to a core feature of the app:
OmniTone does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, photos, files (other than an audio file you explicitly pick), call logs, or SMS.
We use the information described above to:
OmniTone uses the following third-party services, each of which may independently collect and process data in accordance with their own privacy policies:

OmniTone is monetized through advertising for users who have not purchased the OmniTone Pro subscription. Advertisements are served via Google AdMob.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be presented with a consent form (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before any personalized advertising is shown. You can change your consent choice at any time from Profile → Privacy Options within the App.
Regardless of your location, you can control ad personalization at the device level via Android Settings → Privacy → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
OmniTone's App Store listing designates a minimum audience age of 18 and over. This restriction relates exclusively to how advertising is served and personalized under applicable platform policies (e.g., restricting interest-based/personalized advertising to adult audiences) — it does not indicate that the App contains mature, violent, sexual, or otherwise age-restricted content. OmniTone's actual content (a music tuning, metronome, and audio-analysis tool) is suitable for a general audience; the 18+ designation is solely an advertising-eligibility classification. OmniTone is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. See Section 8 for more on children's privacy.
OmniTone is not directed at, marketed to, or intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction), and its Play Store listing designates a minimum audience of 18+ for advertising-eligibility purposes (see Section 5.3). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the information in Section 10 so we can take appropriate action, including deletion of such information.
If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the right to: access, correct, or delete your personal data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time (including for personalized advertising, via Profile → Privacy Options). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information is collected about you; request deletion of personal information; and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (as those terms are defined under CCPA/CPRA). We do not sell your personal information. Advertising identifiers may be considered "shared" for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes under CPRA; you can limit this using the ad personalization controls described in Section 5.2, or via Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where supported.
If you reside in a jurisdiction with similar data protection laws (e.g., Brazil's LGPD, Canada's PIPEDA), you may have comparable rights. Please contact us using the information in Section 10 to exercise any applicable rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address listed in Section 10. We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Some of the third-party services we use (see Section 4) may process and store data on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States. These third parties maintain appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses, where applicable) to protect your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. We will post the updated policy at this URL and revise the "Last Updated" date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
